Nomathemba Emily Mokgethi is a South African politician who served as the Gauteng Health MEC from 2020 to 2022 and has been a member of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature since 2018.

Mokgethi was born in the Transvaal Province.[1] She holds a Master of Arts in Nursing Science and a doctorate in literature and philosophy from the University of South Africa.[2]
